Jacksonville’s Chinese New Year Parade

We love Jacksonville’s Chinese New Year Parade!

we lucked out and the rain stopped just as we started walking to downtown Jacksonville.

The dragons were amazing! I wasn’t sure if my kids would be scared, but they were completely obsessed 

Especially when this guy came around! After just being at Disneyland, they thought this panda was pretty special.

 

Getting candy is always the best part of parades, right?

       

After the parade, the dragons dance and visit each store. I think we watched them go into almost every store, and at one point, they were almost running right into us  So be sure to stay until the very end! it was our favorite part.

   

We can’t wait till next year! The town also has vendors, food, free bounce houses set up, and more!
