Winter Waterfall Adventure
Southern Oregon Waterfalls in the Winter
Southern Oregon hiking with kids
This past March (when it was still freezing & snowing) we decided to head out to a few of our favorite waterfalls.
First on the list was Watson Falls. This is the tallest waterfall in Southwest Oregon with a 293 foot drop. This is one of favorite waterfalls to hike to with kids. The path is very easy and you have the chance to hike right at the foot of the falls, and then also hike to the lookout towards the very top.

We share a lot of our videos HERE on instagram so be sure to follow along!
After Watson Falls, we headed to Tokatee Falls – another kid friendly favorite! The upper descent drops 40 feet, and the lower falls plunges 80 feet over a sheer wall of basalt. This waterfall is truly amazing! The trail to the falls has A LOT of steps – so just beware 🙂

We have been going to these waterfalls since our kids were babies – so it’s always fun to see the changes in photos!
