Hiking Fern Canyon with kids

Hands down one of the BEST hikes we have ever been on with our kids. Fern Canyon is magical. It has water, bridges, climbing, scenery, waterfalls… and is truly the perfect trail for kids.

It is one of the places that you will ALWAYS remember and ALWAYS tell people about. My kids have ranked this one #1 on their favorite hikes list – and we have been on A LOT of fun hikes.

What makes it even cooler is that you share a parking lot with the beach. So you hike through the ferns and feel like you are in Jurassic Park and then end the day at the beach. There is overnight camping here – which would be a really fun weekend getaway 🙂
