PEAR BLOSSOM FESTIVAL

The Pear Blossom Festival is one of our top 3 favorite events of the year!

We’ve now ran the 2 mile Fun Run three years in a row, and I don’t see us ever stopping! Unless we bump it up to the 5K or 10K.

Directly after running, we head over to YMCA for our FREE pancake breakfast and lots of fun inside. They always have booths set up with games, face painting, crafts, and most importantly… their rock climbing wall open to the public. My kids favorite part of the festival ?

After breakfast we get to the parade. I have to say my favorite part is pretty much in the first 15 minutes… but we tend to end up staying through the whole thing (about an hour and a half!)

This year, we finally walked down to The Commons where they have vendors set up and lots of street food!

We LOVE Sanctuary One! Check out our tour we did on their FREE family day a couple years ago HERE

We went into the mobile science center, “The Caterpillar.” and it was so fun! Check them out at pacificagarden.org. They take their science program to budget-tight local schools and teach them about nature and science. We are going to try and get out to their gardens this summer. 500 acres in Williams, OR!
