April in the Rogue
Hikes up Roxy Ann & Upper Table Rock, The Pear Blossom Festival, YMCA fun, and parade. Walks through Lithia Park, Earth Day Festival at Scienceworks, gymnastics at SOGA, and kinder soccer with The Rogue Valley Timbers. What a month!
Don’t we live in the most beautiful corner of the Earth? Spring has quickly become my most favorite time of year here in Southern Oregon!
One of the Festivals we look forward to EVERY year is The Pear Blossom Festival, Run, and Parade!
Did you know that the YMCA has a pancake breakfast, and their facilities are open to the public?
After the 1 mile Fun Run, we devoured our pancake breakfast, got faces painted, and climbed the rock wall at the YMCA!
As if we weren’t already tired from the morning’s festivities, we decided to hike Lower Table Rock with friends! Here is proof that it CAN be hiked with a 5, 3, and 16 month old… and live to tell the tale.
I couldn’t decide which was prettier; the hike up to Table Rock, or the view from the top!
The kids and I explored Lithia Park while Tanner experienced Mountain Biking for the first time on trails around the park!
SOGA has free trials for their gymnastic’s classes. I’ve been looking into activities for my three year old, and she had an absolute blast at SOGA!
Another one of our favorite festivals is Earth Day at Scienceworks.
Scienceworks has FREE admission during the festival, their are booths supporting Earth Day, farm animals, crafts, games, and Food Trucks!
The had many fantastic performers throughout the day!
We have so many libraries throughout Jackson County. My favorite is the Central Point Library. They have the most creative storytimes, and I always leave impressed!
We ended the month off with out very first EVER soccer game! Kinder Soccer through The Rogue Valley Timbers has been great! Not to mention, the most adorable thing I have ever watched
The Rogue Valley Timbers have sign ups for their summer camp right now! The camp is the first week of August. You can find the sign ups HERE. We did it last year, and LOVED it!
