At Thanksgiving, we drove to Arizona to enjoy family and lots of sunshine! Of course, the first day into our three week adventure, this cute girl starts crying over her tooth. After looking in her mouth (how had I NEVER noticed the massive cavity before?!) we knew we had to try and make it back to MEDFORD to see our favorite Pediatric Dentist! Thankfully, during the three weeks we were gone, it hadn’t gotten any worse and after returning home we immediately got in to see Dr. Dixon at Bear Creek Pediatric Dentistry.

We were all so impressed with the entire experience, I had to share. Plus, I’m a little overly sentimental, and love to document all firsts.

Ipads and video games in the waiting area were fun for me too (do you see Pacman in there?)

On her first visit, she had X-rays taken, her teeth cleaned, and Dr. Dixon thoroughly evaluate what she needed. This brave girl had more cavities than I dare to admit…. but let’s just say three of them were so bad she needed an entire tooth pulled with a spacer put in, and two crowns! I promise we brush her teeth morning and night.

But, really, what kid would complain with this set up?? She got to be SEDATED and watch My Little Pony. She is my brave child. She felt so comfortable with Dr. Dixon, and didn’t even flinch when I told her she had to go back (we did the dental work in TWO appointments). What she was most excited about were the coins she was given for the prize machines and her little goodie-bag.

Everyone we met at the office was so great, and made BOTH of us feel more comfortable with the whole experience.
